Bronté's superfine braided hats have been tested by Textile Lab, an independent testing laboratory in the Netherlands. The straw hats have received the highest achievable rating of SPF 50.
SPF50 means that only up to 2% of UV rays can penetrate the straw, making a summer hat a great and safe option for enjoying the sun.
